Terms of Service

By using this website or engaging Aegis Vector Labs ("we", "us") for any service, you ("Client") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or engage our services.

We are a boutique technology & cybersecurity agency providing web design and development, custom Discord automation, cybersecurity consulting, and managed services. Specific deliverables, scope, timelines, and pricing are confirmed per engagement in a written proposal or statement of work. This website is provided as-is without uptime guarantees.

Where an engagement includes security reviews, testing, or configuration changes, you represent and warrant that you own the target systems or have explicit, documented authorization to have them assessed or modified. Working on systems without authorization may violate computer-misuse laws.

We may require written proof of authorization before beginning security work, and may refuse or halt any engagement that lacks it. You are responsible for the consequences of requesting work on systems you were not authorized to touch.

- Quoted prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. - Project work typically bills a deposit up front with the balance on delivery; specifics are set in each proposal. - Managed/retainer plans bill monthly in advance and may be cancelled with reasonable notice.

If we materially fail to deliver an agreed milestone, you may request a refund of unused fees within 14 days. Completed work and approved milestones are non-refundable.

You agree to: - Provide accurate information and timely feedback, approvals, and content. - Hold valid rights to any logos, copy, and assets you provide. - Hold valid authorization for any systems we work on (see Section 3). - Not use deliverables for illegal, abusive, or misleading purposes.

Final deliverables become your property upon final payment. We retain ownership of our internal tools, libraries, frameworks, and reusable components (which do not contain your confidential information), and may reference non-confidential portions of the work in our portfolio.

Both parties agree to keep non-public information shared during an engagement confidential and to use it only to perform the engagement. NDAs are available on request.

Services are provided in good faith and to a professional standard, but without warranty of any specific outcome. Security assessments are point-in-time and cannot identify every possible exposure. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Either party may end an engagement with 14 days written notice. You owe payment for work completed and approved up to that point. Hosted or managed services wind down on a reasonable timeline so you can migrate.

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Mecklenburg County, NC.

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
